When Talking about up and coming diva’s, Nina Martinez is definitely an artist on the rise. Nina’s first break came while on tour for radio Disney when she was asked to record a song for a Hollywood Motion Picture, “Bar Hopping,” starring Tom Arnold. The song entitled “I’m Through With You” written and produced by the legendaryk Barry Coffin is the highlight of the movie showcasing Nina’s mature silky voice.

As a songwriter, Nina has proven she has what it takes placing second in the Berkley Park Record’s major song writing competition. She has aslo been contacted by Bob Leone and “the songwriters Hall of Fame” to perform two of her original songs for the SHOF Showcase in New York City at the famous Cutting Room and was selected as a finalist in the Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival in

California where she will perform and compete for top honors in front of industry greats which is nothing new for this diva who has performed at the world famous “Sugar Bar” Night Club in New York owned and operated by Pop Stars, Songwriting legends, “Ashford & Simpson.”

Nina will also be showcasing her voice on nationally televised “Unsigned Artist Showcase” for USA Networks on August 28, 2004 and the world famous Apollo Theatre’s “Show Time At the Apollo” where she auditioned and was selected amongst hundreds of talented performers.

In between performing and recordings, Nina has been on an exclusive tour promoting her new CD opening up for such artists as: Judy Torres, Tito Puente Jr., Tego Calderon, & K7 of TKA to name a few.

As a recording artist, Nina has reached and held on to the top spot and most requested song on New York’s own Latino Mix 105.9 with “Gimme Just 1 Night,” a song she co-wrote with multi-platinum producer & grammy winner, Edwin Ramos. As a result, it was the beginning of their collaboration resulting in Nina’s latest self titled CD due ou in December 2004.
